What you like to do in St. Louis: I like the size of the city w/ its comfortable driving distances. Also it has wonderful parks like forest park and Botanical garden. Weather is not very extreme and it doesn't snow a lot. ( I was in Toronto before I came here) Other interests/hobbies: Travelling, Cooking( sometimes), Shopping( always) Marital Status: Very much married with baby on the way. We just drove a few hours away to eat at the "famous" Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston, MO the home of "throwed rolls"... and darts in my garage. What I like the most about St. Louis: WASH U. Also worth mentioning: 1- Exhausting all available activities at Forest Park: running, fun walks, picnic, outdoor theater and concerts, kayaking, admiring the colors of Autumn. 2- St. Louis has all the potential to drain your time and wallet with great restaurants, bars and clubs. 3- Hockey and baseball games are accessible by metro - a great convenience. 4- Cost of living is affordable. Being away from the coast is the biggest price you'll pay if you end up here. 5- Weather is perfect: four seasons, all temperate, each with its own flavor. If you're the type who enjoys a change every four months, you will love the weather in St. Louis. There's nothing routine about it except that the seasons come in the same order every year! 6- People are friendly in general 7- Airport accessible by metro from work for golden weekend travels after the 30-hr call... Hub for American Airlines and Southwest. 8- Concerts can appeal to all: from Coldplay, DJ Tiesto to Rihanna, all have been here. Usher coming soon. Celine Dion cancelled (I know!!!!) 9- The Symphony: outstanding performances. 10- the Fox theater: majestic place; Broadway and other productions from this past year included: Mamma Mia, Wicked, the Phantom of the opera, Chicago, Grease, Mary Poppins, Shrek.... What I hate about St. Louis: -- I'll tell you after the match! Other interests/hobbies: Traveling (visited 14 countries so far), Swimming, classical and electronic music; spending time playing with my 2-yo and my 4-yo godsons; Oriental music.
