Dr. Awadalla is the head of the General Neurology Section
Medical TrainingDr. Awadalla was originally born in Egypt. She received her M.D. degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. She completed her neurology residency at Washington University in St. Louis in 1989.
While in medical school Ohio State, she received the Department of Neurology Award. In 1987, while at Washington University, she received the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. In 1993 she received the Sydney S. Pearl, M.D. '32 Award for Inspirational Teaching Washington University School of Medicine. In 2003 she was elected to membership of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society at Washington University.
