Muhammed Al-Lozi, MD

Dr. Al-Lozi is the Director of the Electrodiagnostic Laboratory, and Director of the Neuromuscular Medicine Training Program.

Dr. Al-Lozi is certified by the American Board of Neurology, American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology, added qualification, American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American Board of Neuromuscular medicine. He is certified in muscle pathology by the American Academy of Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the Missouri Medical Association.

Dr. Al-Lozi was awarded the Washington University Department of Neurology Sven Eliasson Award for Teaching Excellence multiple times, in 1996, 2005, 2006, and 2007. In 2003 Dr. Al-Lozi was given the Clinical Teacher of the Year Award at Washington University. During his training years, he received the Tom Preziosi Award for Clinical Excellence from Johns Hopkins Hospitals.

Medical Training

Originally from Amman, Jordan, Dr. Al-Lozi received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. He went on to complete a residency in neurology at Johns Hopkins University and a fellowship in neuromuscular diseases at Washington University in St. Louis.
